Did a test and bought a 3 pk each of Carhardt, Wigwam and Champion. I like the socks, but found that Champion were heavier, longer up the leg. Carhardt are good but not as heavy as Champion. Wigwam was too light in weight for my taste. Next time I need socks, I’ll buy Champion.

One of the few options if you have big feet

I’m a men’s size 14. This is one of the few multi-sock packs that comes in men’s XL. You can find other socks that have more cushion in them, but they’ll probably be more expensive. These are good enough for me. Better than the cheap multi-sock packs you’ll find at Target and Wal-Mart.

Great socks so far

EDIT: I like these socks enough that I ordered a second helping. These socks are thick and durable. I thought they would be a little warmer than they are. I bought them for winter wear with combat boots in Kabul, Afghanistan. Turns out they work well in the hot season and just OK in cold weather. Cushiony, comfortable and easy to get on and off.

I’m very happy with them. Back for more…

I just came back for a second round of purchasing these socks. For those who are expecting a really thick sock, these aren’t for you. However, they’re certainly thicker than what pass for sweat socks these days, and just right for me. The first set of three I bought about a year ago have held up very well. No signs of wear, particularly at the typical wear points: toes and heels, and all of the elastic is holding up exceptionally well. Mine still look new and they’ve been worn many times. The fact that I’ve just come back to buy six more should be the best indication of my satisfaction. I like everything about them. As one who uses “quality” with great care and not all that frequently when describing a product, I can assure you these socks meet my definition of quality.

When I bought these, they were advertised as “cushioned work socks”. They aren’t cushioned, and the description has since been updated – too late to help me, though. They are good, quality socks. Problem is, I work 12 hour days on cement floors in steel toe boots, and I’m overweight. I needed the extra cushion. If you don’t need the additional thickness, these will be perfect for you.

These socks are worth every penny!!

I’ve purchased this same brand of socks over 4 years ago. They haven’t given out even though I use them everyday out on the airfield with boots and everything. I’m just getting more because they’re awesome.
