Simply put, one of the best boot socks ever made. I rotated 5 pair during a 1 year tour in Iraq. They held up fine for the year during long patrols, even when wet. Well made and comfortable with “no blister” toe seams. If you need the best sock to wear with your combat boots, you can be sure these socks will serve you well.

I bought one pair of these guys at first, since they were 11 bucks I’d figure I would test them out first before buying a weeks worth of them.

Just simply awesome! I have recently been honorably discharged from the marines and let me say Fox River makes the best socks. I bought 10 pair just after boot camp because I wanted to have good socks, after not having good socks in boot camp. These socks lasted me over 3 years of constant everyday use. Kept feet cool and dry and comfortable. They outlasted by Danner Marine boots that fell apart at about 3 years. I still have some of the fox river socks I had in the Marines and still wear them. These do seem to ride up high on the calf but doesnt bother me any. Just simply awesome, well made socks. I bought 10 more pair just because Im afraid they might stop making them.

I walk 5 miles a day twice a week in my job as a parttime security guard at a college. I usually wear wool socks, but decided to try these because the merino wool socks were causing my feet to sweat to much. These were a bit better. They seemed to be the same initially, but they must dry up more quickly than the wool, because after a bit they were dry and I appreciated that. I really have never liked wicking socks because they give me the feel of wet feet, but these are the best that I have tried. I ordered two more pair.

I got about 5 pairs of these to go through basic training- well worth they cost. They made the process of breaking in the newly issued boots much more smooth and saved my feet on some of the longer ruck marches. After 10 weeks of constant abuse they continue to hold together and work just like when I got them. I’ll definitely be sticking with these through my military career. (If you’re going Army be sure to buy them in OD Green.)

Well worth the price. Comfortable feet makes a happy Soldier.

I decided to splurge and invest in some socks that are outside of the ones issued by Uncle Sam. I’ve long experienced blisters during long distance ruck marches and believed that it was the boots I owned. I’ve switched around boots, but to no avail.

Great combat sock. I like them a lot, all I wish is that they made these were they came above the calf so that they would stay in place better.

These socks are everything I hoped for. They were recommended by my son who is in the Army Infantry and boy are they worth the money!! I’m on construction sites all the time and standing around a lot. My feet used to ache and throb at the end of a long day. These socks make all the difference in the world!!. After a long standing day my feet may be tired but they aren’t the focus of attention any more. I’ve ordered 5 pair and now another 3 pair just make sure I can cover a long week.

So, when I first joined the military in April of 2004 I tried out a bunch of different socks to see which ones would work the best for me. For keep feet dry, stopping blisters on ruck marches, how quickly they wear out. After trying ten types these were the ones I settled on and I picked up ten pairs to rotate for use. It is now March of 2016 and I am just now replacing them. I tried the new ones and they seem exactly the same except for a color change on the logo, here’s hoping they will last 12 years as well. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

If you are on your feet all day long in tactical boots, these are the best socks. The extra padding on the side helps cushion from the zipper on the tactical boots. I work outside most of the time around the ocean so my feet get really sweaty, but these socks keep them pretty dry. Worth the price, would buy them again.
