My favorite socks

I love new socks. I think many of us do. I throw away old ones before I really need to just to have an excuse to experience the feel of new socks.

Good For The Money, But Wear Down Quickly

In my search for socks that allow air to flow and wick moisture, I was shocked at the cost of many brands. While they received high ratings, I couldn’t afford them. So, I was happy to see these Hanes Comfort Cool socks. I’ve been wearing them for a while exclusively and for the most part I’ve been happy. Compared to standard socks, they really are cooler and help with sweaty feet in shoes that don’t have enough ventilation. On the other hand, they aren’t as good at wicking moisture as the fancy expensive socks. They also wear out relatively quickly. Mine are gathering holes after around 7 months.

These are pretty darn good socks for the price

I tried on my first pair of these yesterday, and they feel really great. I like these much better than the low-cut socks that barely come over the heel of the foot. They feel nice and soft, very comfy, and the quality is very nice. Definitely liked the fact that these aren’t really expensive and didn’t break my budget. For the person who isn’t hung up on a name brand, who’s just looking for quality at a fairly good price, I recommend these socks, without a doubt. Thanks Amazon.

Worth every penny

I had been buying cheaper brands of socks from Walmart for some time now and they always wore out quickly in the toe/heal section. Took a chance on the Hanes Comfort’s and I must say that my feet have been missing out on the plush comfort these socks provide. I wouldn’t have believed that you could gain a very nice feeling sock without making it too thick. These fit just right and don’t make your shoes fit overly tight. Just put them through their second wash cycle and they still look great.

Nice cushion. Nice thickness without being too thick.

I have purchased these socks more than once because everyone in the family started wearing them. They aren’t cheap but they are pretty durable and comfortable. I sure hope Hanes is listening. I hate it when a sock or shoe company discontinues a great product and replaces it with something inferior or something way different in features. So….when you find a winner, stock up before they discontinue it.

Hanes socks

Really too early to rate effectively, but after two washings, they seem to be working good. I have tried the “no-show” ankle socks (other brands), but they keep getting pulled off my feet in my shoes. These are staying put. If they continue to work, I will try the (no-show) ankle type if Hanes makes them.

Live up to their name!!

I did not really expect these socks to be much cooler than the regular Hanes ankle sock I normally buy, but I was very pleasantly surprised. They are cooler wearing and seem to help sweating somewhat, and also thicker than I expected, which is a good thing. I have small feet, but they fit pretty true, just a touch large, but that is to be expected in a near 1 size fits all product. No way that would be a deal breaker for me though, and hope to buy some more soon.

Quality and fit are great

I really like these socks…they fit well, are well made, and my feet don’t seem to perspire as much while wearing them. I bought these, as well as the Hanes “Comfort Stretch Ankle” socks, as I couldn’t decide between the two. The Comfort Stretch socks were much tighter, and actually made my feet sweat more than usual. No comparison. If you want good, comfortable low cut socks that handle perspiration well, the Cool Ankle socks are the ones to get.
