Great file, cheap handle

I really like the scuffing capability of this file on my foot- my feet are very dry and cracked at the heal. I really needed something that I could use to saw away at my callus. The actual file part of this does the trick and you can see all the skin it is shaving off in dust form. What I don’t like is that the handle is cheaper plastic so it bends when you really apply pressure. This makes me need to be very careful and not apply as much pressure as I would like because it will snap.

This style product is now harder to find in stores (Bed Bath Beyond, etc.) and yet this is one of my favorites since it is reasonably gentle, yet does the job (that being said, I do practice regular pedi-care). One side is great for “filing” and other side is a good finisher. I use it a couple times a week for light maintenance. Be careful with the handle however, it can snap off — definitely hold the handle close down to where the file starts. Don’t hold the handle toward the top!

Pros: Easy to hold and they’re larger than most you would buy from online. Low price.

These are the absolute best foot exfoliators I’ve found. About once a month, I use them after showering and follow up with this lotion and my feet stay super soft and moisturized:

gonna stick with what I know and love.

this is exactly what I wanted. Had one before and lost it so bought a mechanical one and it was worthless on dry and wet heels. gonna stick with what I know and love.

Great product – works really well at making your feet smooth in between pedicures. I use it primarily for my heal area. Keeps my feet looking great. Good value, too. AAA+++ product.

when my local stores stopped carrying these files, i came to amazon. of course amazon had them! these files are tough enough to keep my summer feet smooth and crack free, and gentle enough to use often without chewing up my heels.

great product

i had a bad experience of pedicure, so had to do it by myself. well this file is just like professional. doesnt hurt or scratch ur skin, just peels it right. dont forget to bath ur feet before using, after bathing take most of the water from your feet with towel and start filing. took me about 20 min to make my feet clean and perfect.

Pedicures can be expensive at the spa so I prefer to do them myself. This pedi file is the same quality used at the spa for a fraction of the price. As I’ve gotten older I have trouble with dry skin on my heels that cracks and peels if I don’t keep the callouses filed. I use this file on dry heels once every week or two along with daily moisture cream to prevent that from happening.

Good product.

This was recommended by my podiatrist for daily use to keep calluses from building up. I’ve found that it’s much more useful than a callus shaver. It last many months before it needs to be replaced.
